Educating kids about food, from source to plate

Farms

Participate as a Days of Taste Farm

We could not run our Days of Taste® program without the help of our generous local farms. Specific programming is flexible and varies by farm partner, but serving as a Days of Taste® farm typically involves hosting a group of students for a morning of hands on learning opportunities and providing education about the daily business of running a farm, how food is grown and prepared for market and how animals are raised.

Pair with a Chef for Days of Taste Maryland

Think Iron Chef, Maryland Style! This one-of-a-kind foodie event is a culinary competition that pairs local farmers with the area’s most talented chefs to create original dishes that highlight the region’s wide abundance of local, fresh ingredients. This amazing night has upward of 500 attendees and is the annual fundraiser for TasteWise Kids and our signature program, Days of Taste®.

Help Develop Educational Content

We are in need of agriculture related content for workbooks, newsletters, online resources, current programs and new educational workshops in development. If you would like to be a resource for us as we continue to develop programming and related materials that inspire kids to explore and experience the world of food and its sources, please let us know.

Help us Grow our Network

We are always in search of farms, chefs and supporters to partner with to help advance our mission. If you know of anyone that is interested in getting involved, please don't hesitate to let us know. We are also always on the lookout for volunteers with an interest in sharing their love of good food. If you would be interested in sharing volunteer recruitment materials on our behalf, please reach out.

We are also open to new ideas for getting involved with us. Please get in touch using our contact form to learn about any of the above opportunities or to offer any other ideas you have.
