Come volunteer with us!

Interested in what we do and want to get involved but don’t have mornings free? Or want to give back in a way where you can share your talents or skills? Is working directly with kids not your thing? That’s totally ok. We have a variety of ways for volunteers to share their time and talents with TasteWise Kids. Here are a few current open volunteer positions.

 

Enjoy writing and editing? Know how to use WordPress? We are looking for help with our external communications. Specifically, we are seeking an editor of our monthly e-newsletter and blog, Tasting Notes. This person will help to plan content, write articles, and craft the e-newsletter each month. In addition, we are looking for help with updating content on our website using WordPress.

Love to throw or plan parties? We plan and host a number of special events each year, including our big gala, Farm to Chef Maryland. We are looking for a few individuals to help us make sure we get the details right, plan new ideas, and coordinate with our current partners.

On top of the latest in food news and education? Like to research? We need help building out our new Resources section of our website. We need a few individuals to cultivate and craft the content to make sure our community has access to quality and usable resources.

Like data and numbers? We want to improve our use of Google Analytics and other tools so we can track our effectiveness better and improve user experience on our website and social media channels . We are looking for an individual to dig into our current metrics and help us create a plan for regular reporting and improvement.
