We are thrilled for the Flavors of Maryland to return for its second year and guarantee that this event will be our best yet! The Flavors of Maryland will showcase Baltimore chefs and farmers in a celebration of the foodways of Maryland. In addition to offering deliciously prepared foods and creative cocktails, the evening will also provide the opportunity to meet and mingle with renowned celebrity food professionals.

What is Flavors of Maryland?
TasteWise Kids has transformed its much-anticipated signature farm to-table event, this time with a focus on the local foodways of Maryland and our region.
We will be featuring the best of Maryland’s beverages, complete with a few handmade cocktails as well as local wine and beer. Local farmers will be spotlighted, as they collaborate with the chefs to create amazing dishes that represent the diversity of cultures and ingredients that make Maryland a foodie paradise. It’s an event not to be missed!
Meet Some of Our Incredible Guests
We're so excited to welcome a range of food personalities, chefs, farms, and beverage providers to this amazing event. An opportunity to learn from one another, network, and enjoy the magic of like-minded foodies gathering in one space. Featured chefs and restaurants include David and Tonya Thomas of Heirloom, Rey Eugenio of Heritage Kitchen, Ekiben, Crust by Mack, True Chesapeake, Alma, Audiel Vera of Avenue Kitchen and Bar, Chesapeake Chef Services, and Chef Cat.
Irena Stein is a photographer, restaurateur, immigrant, sustainability advocate, and humanitarian. She is chef of Alma Cocina Latina, a contemporary and imaginative taste of Venezuela right here in Baltimore. In 2020, Irena also initiated Alkimiah, a community meals program in partnership with Mera Kitchen Collective that provides healthy, high-quality, and sustainable meals to communities for free. Her cookbook, Arepa, is a celebration of Venezuela's most beloved street food.

This event is all about sharing the stories and origin of our most beloved flavors. Throughout the night you'll hear from and participate in conversations with our guest chefs and farmers about the flavors that they love. But you'll also have the opportunity to take home a cookbook with a special Flavors of Maryland bookplate that will keep opening doors to new flavors.
We will accept cash, check, or credit card through donation platform for all cookbook sales.
