A Taste of Howard County, presented by UnitedHealthcare

Prepare your tastebuds and join TasteWise Kids for a sweet, sour, bitter, salty, tasting experience, then put on your chef’s hat as we prepare a dip for familiar (and possibly mysterious) Howard County-grown veggies in your take-home supplies. Meet a local farmer and learn more about what grows in Howard County and how it tastes.  

Registration includes a tote bag of fresh, seasonal produce sourced from local farms, as well as ingredients for vinaigrette dressing, prepared in The Roving Radish’s professional kitchen. Samples for tasting will be ready-to-eat, no culinary/knife skills required. Along with the food, the tote will include a printed recipe for the vinaigrette, as well as information about Howard County farms, TasteWise Kids, healthy eating and other resources.
