Welcome to Week Three of GiveWise December!

As we head into the third week of the month, many of you are already tuned in to  our exclusive GiveWise Calendar content. But for those of you just discovering GiveWise, you’re probably wondering, what is the GiveWise Calendar? We wanted to create a calendar with fun, small ways to show gratitude and give back to yourself and your community. It’s kind of like an Advent calendar but one focused on food and connection. This is our Thank You to you and our many supporters.

If you missed the first two weeks of the calendar, not to worry, find them here in case you’re in need of some extra activities for you and your family.

Instructions

Just like you would use an advent calendar, check the activity for each day on our GiveWise calendar throughout the month of December. You can choose to complete the activities every day or just on the days that work best for you and your family.

Below are the activities for the third week of the month.

Monday December 14th

Give your pantry or refrigerator a good clean. Evaluate how you might be able to reduce food waste in the future.

Tuesday December 15th

Share a TWKatHome Activity with someone you think might enjoy it! Can’t decide which one? Send them the link to our entire TWKatHome series!

Wednesday December 16th

Share a favorite recipe or cooking tip with a friend or family member.

Thursday December 17th

Read about farmers of color and racial equity in the food industry.

Friday December 18th

Give a food you think you don’t like a second try.

Saturday December 19th

Set aside time to cook one meal with your family–get everyone involved, kids especially.

Sunday December 20th

Have a leisurely breakfast in your pajamas today.
